Most analysis of any cultural event doesnt really come out until a few years after when the blowback starts to trickle out hidden truths. And fuck this guy for thinking there was ever a sustained period of literacy and great intellectualism in the US. Twitter just reveals the lack of ability the public has in dissecting politics that has always existed; time immemorial.
